This Fr.-96 or 1869 $10 Legal Tender is commonly refered to as the Jackass Note, so called because the eagle on the bottom of the note looks like the head of a Jackass when the note is held upside down. On the front is the head of Daniel Webster, US Congressman and Senator. He was the Secretary of State in 1841 and from 1850 to 1852. On the right, Indian Princess Pocahontas is being presented to Englands Royal Court. This note is also refered to as a Rainbow note because of its color on the face. You will love viewing this note on the zoomify feature because of it very intricate designs. I am not sure what keep this note from a UNC grade. I find no folds whatsoever. I do know that it is totally origional and has never been doctored. That is why PCGS gave it the PPQ. I bought this note a a great price and I am passing it on to you, the collector. The serial number is H4265169 and it is in a conservative PCGS-AU58PPQ holder.
