This 1914 $20 Federal Reserve Note is from the New York district. It is also from the Famous Dave Rickey Collection. According to the PCGS POP report there are only three notes graded higher that are PPQ quality. This note is totally original with no rips, tears or pinholes. You can still see the embossing through the holder. Check out the deep blue inks that are as vivid as the day it was printed. Most of the FRN’s have been cleaned and pressed as was an acceptable practice in the 1940 through 1970 era. This is one of the survivors that was never pressed or cleaned. The serial number on this New York FRN is B41270271A and it resides in a PCGS-40PPQ holder.
