Most shift errors are shifted slightly and up to the right. however this is a dramatic major shift up and to the right...it is also a star note. This star note was printed to replace a previous note that was declared unfit for circulation. How does this happen, especially on a star note? You can barley see the serial numbers and the star because it is shifted so bad. This 1969 $1 Richmond FRN star note would probably grade a GEM by PMG. I will submit it to PMG at the next show. A super cool shift error note at a super cool price. the serial number is E03627504*. This note is NOW in a PMG-40EPQ holder.
