9/16/2010 - OVER 130 NEW NOTES ADDED TO THE WEBSITE---I know it has been awhile since Ive added new and exciting notes to our website. Well last night I added over 75 large size and over 60 small size notes to the website. Most of them I just recently got back from PMG. Some of them were already on the website as raw notes (they will not be under new additions) but were not in PMG holders. Ive added the new photos in the PMG holders with new descriptions and new and lower prices. I have another batch that I will be adding in the next week or so. So look out for them. PS I sold a lot of them this morning. They did not last long. Please browse through the website and check them out. I turned in a lot of my old CGA note to get graded by PMG and surprisingly a lot of them did real well. Let me know what you think! Jhon E Cash

9/2/2010 - Dallas---Well it’s now September and there are several currency shows coming up in the next few months. Im not sure which ones I will be attending as of right now. I will post them as soon as I know, probably in the next week or so. Recently Ive had a lot of collectors calling and emailing me looking for high grade notes from either PMG or PCGS. The GEM-65EPQ or PPQ is the magic number that most collectors seem to request. There is reluctance for many collectors to pay a premium for the 66 grades or higher, although there are still some collectors who still want them. As the market is trying to pick itself up from the slow summer, collectors are being very selective on what they buy. As I’ve talked to a lot of collectors and they have some concerns with the uncertainty of the economy, especially with elections less than 90 days away. Unlike last year they have the funds to pretty much acquire the notes they need or want. But as one collector told me, “I’m waiting for the market to go down….again”. BIG MISTAKE! I can tell you that the market is definitely rebounding in a strong way. Just look at the Boston ANA show in August. All three auction houses had outstanding auction result, with Heritage having an all time record sale. Just look at the auction results and you will notice the much higher prices realized for the rarer and higher graded notes. The more common FR numbers were pretty much stale and the mid to lower graded common notes were still a good buy at the lower prices. I advise any new or novice collector to try to only purchase notes in the PMG and PCGS green holders with the EPQ or PPQ designators. I say this because they will bring higher prices when you go to resale them. My take is this, why would a dealer or reseller offer ungraded notes to the collecting community, when it is so easy and inexpensive nowadays to get them graded by PCGS or PMG? I understand that they may have just purchased them from a collector or end user and have not had a chance to get them submitted to the grading companies. If that is the case, wait till they get them graded. It takes the guess work out of what you think it is or what the reseller thinks it is. I don’t always agree with the grading company’s opinion of a specific note, but for the most part they are fairly accurate. As the saying goes….you get what you pay for.

9/16/2010 - Ah, approaching Springtime. It is a relief considering August was the 4th or 5th hottest month on record with 20 or so days of triple digit heat. As we exit the Summer doldrums we can expect to add many more coins to our inventory and are actively searching for the BEST toned Morgan dollars in existence. If you have a toned Morgan you feel is the BEST, contact me at 972-746-9193. I WANT to buy it.

9/16/2010 - Oh Yeah. I only have one more coin to add to the inventory from the Boston show. I will not be in Long Beach but will be monitoring the auctions. I am currently looking for a nice 1911-D $10 Indian and a 1913-S $10 Indian in MS64+. I am also actively searching for the finest toned Morgans in existence. If you have any of these coins, contact me IMMEDIATELY. I want to buy them. Summer is coming to a close and the Fall buying season is upon us. Get them while they are hot.
