Obverse Design: Barber's head of Liberty, similar to the adopted issue, but with each star having five points rather than six.

Reverse Design: Variation on the Heraldic Eagle theme, with an oak wreath, open at the top, encircling the eagle, and with other differences.

Additional Details: Two pieces known, both in the Smithsonian Institution.
