Obverse Design: Barber's design with goddess standing, variously known as Liberty or Columbia, her right hand holding a sword, her left a pole on which a liberty cap is mounted. Resplendent rays behind, among which is the lettering IN GOD WE TRUST. Around the top border

Reverse Design: Variations on that used on J-1765, but with significantly smaller eagle, rays above the clouds, and other differences.

Additional Details: Two pieces known, both in the Smithsonian Institution. A third was owned by Stephen Nagy at one time, but is now not traced.
